I can’t believe it’s already the end of the year. 2018 went so fast! This was my first full year in my new country, Malta. Even if the island is tiny, I still have a lot of things to visit! It was also a year full of travels. Back to 2018 in pictures.
My first travel of the year was in Budapest and it was quite late in the year (end of April). So I was really looking forward to it! Budapest was not on top of my wishlist, I was more interested in Vienna or Prague. But the flights were quite cheap so I decided to go for a long weekend. It was a very good surprise, I loved it! Discover my article 10 things to do in Budapest.
Italy: Verona, Garda Lake and Bologna
Being a fan of Romeo and Juliet, Verona was on my wishlist for a long time. I decided to go there in 2018 and I loved it! During the same trip, I’ve been one day around the Garda Lake (Lazise and Peschiera) and one day to Bologna. Find here my top 5 of Verona.
Italy: Sicily (Catania and Mount Etna)
Finally! After all these years, I’ve finally been to Sicily! I really wanted to go there because this is where my mom is from. I stayed for only one weekend so I didn’t have time to explore the island, but I’ll go back for sure! Check out my article about Catania and the Mount Etna.
My trip in Scotland was one of the best in my life! Scotland is amazing, I loved it! I still have to write an article about my trip, but in the mean time you can check my blog post about the best things to see in Edinburgh.
I ticked off 3 places of my travel wishlist 2018! Stay tuned, the wishlist 2019 is coming soon!
